Jeff Lane is the founder of SEQ Essential and has over 30 years’ experience in Health and Safety, Environment and Quality Management (HSEQ), having worked in senior positions for some of Australia’s leading construction, infrastructure and telecommunication organisations. This experience includes developing, implementing and auditing management systems based on various standards, including ISO9001, ISO45001, AS4801, ISO14001, OFSC and NSW Government Guidelines and Contractor Pre-Qualification and training staff in all aspects of HSEQ.

 

Jeff holds a passion for people and keeping them safe, caring for the environment and simplifying HSEQ processes to enable businesses to better manage their health, safety and environmental risks, deliver quality products and services to their clients and improve business efficiency and performance.

In Jeff’s previous roles as the head of HSEQ for Tier 1 companies and as a consultant for an international management consultancy firm, he has acquired hands on experience in what it takes to manage work health and safety, environmental and quality in complex and high-risk work environments. He has been at the forefront of the development of management systems based on the ISO Standards since their emergence and has learnt from some of the most highly recognised academics, researchers and influencers in the field of human psychology, organisation culture and risk.
